I just have to point out the fact that it is possible to be an make up artist, though people putting make up in Hollywood stars faces mostly isn't.
And, it's also possible to change the meaning of a word. Maybe in 30 years design will not mean the art (or craft)of purposefully planning the form, function, production and aesthetics of a product you want to make but simply the looks of a thing.
